Jimboscomp.com guarantees all service completed on computers for 90 days upon completion. All items used in upgrade are however warranted for one year. We guarantee the finest in services and products sold to you, to offer the most trouble free computer servicing offered. If you are in any way unsatisfied with the service you received on your Windows or Macintosh computer, please give Jimboscomp.com a call and we will work to make it right. Code of Conduct
    
We value our attitudes and the treatment of our customers at the very highest. You are not a number, you are a person whom we want to be able to speak to on a first name basis, be your friend, and help you out. Anyone baring the name of Jimboscomp.com is held to act professional, kind, and understanding. We will not use foul language, not be angered, ridicule you, steal anything belonging to you (items in office/home or data on computers), scam you, or harm you physically or emotionally. We promise to be patient, kind, understanding, calm, to turn the other cheek, and never to give up on issues with your computer problems. If anyone with our name has ever violated any of these rules of our conduct, do contact James immediately to resolve the issue. This is our promise!
 
Three Year Warranty on Computers
     All of our computers we custom build for customers come with a 3-year guarantee no questions asked on them. This protects against manufacturing defects in all of the parts. All hard drives are warranted to 5 years however. All parts under warranty for 3 years are the following: motherboard, processor, RAM, CD/DVD drive, video card, sound card, additional add on cards (USB, Firewire), internal fans. The case of the computer also has a 3 year warranty, but if physical abuse is caused to the tower within the warranty period, the warranty is void and the customer will be charged for the cost of the tower plus the labor to replace it. Physical abuse of the computer is defined as follows. A computer where the parts have been individually abused, including hammering, tossing, throwing, dropping, kicking, shaking, biting, are subject to a void of warranty.

Monitor Warranties:
     All of the monitors ordered have a one year warranty. Since the monitor is not manufactured by Jimboscomp.com, we will provide for you a 1 year warranty on the monitors purchased. If you have specifically asked to receive a Viewsonice monitor, we honor the 3-year warranty placed on Viewsonic monitors.

Disclaimer:
     In the case that a computer has been damaged by a virus obtained on the computer, the hardware damaged or the files lost are not covered under our warranty, and Jimboscomp.com is not responsible for the loss of any files due to a virus. Warranty is also void if the computer has suffered from "physical abuse" causing hardware failure. We are also not responsible for any data loss if the hard drive crashes within the warranty period; the hard drive will be replaced under warranty, however data recovery is not covered under warranty. It is the responsibility of the owner to often backup the data of a hard drive.

 
Late Fees
    
We have a no-tolerance payment system. All bills not paid within 30 days of receiving invoice will be charged a 15% late fee. We have many ways for you to pay your bill, check, cash, business check, and PayPal along with credit cards. Even if you do not have a PayPal account, you can still pay by credit card by not signing into your PayPal account. If you are unable to pay by the due date by check (even if the bill is below the $1,000.00 minimum for credit card payments), please pay by credit card by 11:59 PM on the due date.

      Bills still not paid within 60 days will receive a notice by our lawyers with our lawyer costs added on to the bill. Thank you for your cooperation.

 
Sub-Contracting Policy
     Installation Services
We guarantee to provide our best in installation services. Any work that does not work properly will not be charged for the extra time needed to correct problems. We use all proper building codes while running wires and connecting low voltage network and phone wiring.

     IT Management Services
We guarantee to provide to your clients the same level of professional services as we do ours. While representing your company, we promise to make your clients as happy as ours are. If your business is involved in software pirating, please note we are an anti-piracy company. We will not install academic or pirated software in a business environment. If you wish to continue using pirated or academic software in a business setting, you and your own employees will be responsible for the installation, and be held responsible by any authorities for the pirating and maintenance of that software.

     Customer Service
We do not handle customer service calls for your clients. We offer server end and professional installation services for your clients. We will not be responsible for handling complaints with your client. We are here to serve you and your client with our technical expertise. We are not bound to handle billing, customer complaints directly; we will only provide the necessary services needed to correct issues within the technical realm.

     Client Protection
We understand you have your own clients, and we have our own. By accepting us to be your choice of IT management for your customers, you also automatically accept that we too have our own clients. In no way by using us for your company are you allowed to use us as a means to grab more clients for your business through us. Your clients are yours, and our clients are ours. Any breech of using us to get in contact with more prospects will result in legal action for fraudulent practices.

 

Contracting Policy
     General Contract Information

All contracts signed on by Jimboscomp.com or James Clack are locked in for as long as the contract states. Jobs signed to last as long as the job lasts are completed once the final payment is received for the job. Contracts signed for a stated amount of hours, days, and/or months are locked in until the date stated for completion or the allotted amount of time has has passed. Contracts signed for network wiring of a building are locked in until the final payment has been received by the customer, which is due upon completion of the wiring project.
     Contract Cancellations
Contracts may not be canceled unless proof is shown that there are logical circumstances not allowing the job contracted to continue for a certain amount of time, or if the job must be canceled permanently.
These circumstances include the following:

  • Building Permits
  • Natural Disasters (Earthquake Damage, Fire Damage, Flooding Damage)
  • Violation of Company Policy (Contract not signed by employee with authority to do so)
  • Death of high ranking employee
  • Death of family member (home and home office contracts)
  • Going out of business
  • Illegal Operations in Progress at Job Site

If however a contract must be canceled for any reason other than the above, a cancellation fee of $100 will be charged for contracts signed over $1,000, and $250 for contracts over $5,000. Contracts as well become invalid if a violation is made by the customer/company Jimboscomp.com or James Clack have been contracted out to.
     Automatic Contract Cancellation
Contracts will also become automatically cancelled if the customer or company fail to make a payment within one (1) month after of the due date. If the payment is received, or if a logical explanation of why the payment is late or sent to Jimboscomp.com/James Clack within that month, an extra month will be given to make the payment before the contract is canceled automatically. A contract will also be cancelled if a customer fails to provide necessary information within two (2) months of the request from Jimboscomp.com or James Clack. There are no cancellation fees for automatic contract cancellations.
This includes the following:

  • Product Sheet with Pricing
  • Floor Plans for Building
  • Goods needed for job (if not provided by Jimboscomp.com / James Clack)
  • Decision within one (1) month of contract signing, stating which products want to be used in job (Cabling Type, Computer specs).

Contracts are subject to changes to fit the current status of a contracted job as needed. Jimboscomp.com or James Clack have the right to cancel a contract if the customer or company fail to provide the above information, or fail to make the payment in the time allotted. We will not be held responsible for any personal loss you may encounter during a contract; and will NOT be held responsible if the job we provide to you does not immediately benefit your personal or company's sales and/or profits. These are out of reach for Jimboscomp.com/James Clack, as we only guarantee to build the most stable and efficient computers, networks, and web sites; we do not guarantee company or personal profits to rise as a result of our work.

Our web design department has been discontinued and is no longer accepting web design jobs.
